⁴³ They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

⁹ You shall gird them with ^(A)sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind ^[a]caps on them, and they shall have ^(B)the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall ^[b](C)ordain Aaron and his sons.

¹⁷ It is a ^(A)perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat ^(B)or any blood.’”

³⁴ Now you shall have this as a ^(A)permanent statute, to ^(B)make atonement for the sons of Israel for all their sins once every year.” And just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so he did.

²³ Only the Levites shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall ^(A)bear their iniquity; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations, and among the sons of Israel ^(B)they shall have no inheritance.

²¹ So it shall be a perpetual statute for them. And he ^(A)who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

²⁵ So it has been from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.
