⁵ Moreover, you shall ^(A)set the gold altar of incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the veil for the doorway to the tabernacle.

² The Lord said to Moses:

“Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter ^(A)at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the ^[a]mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for ^(B)I will appear in the cloud over the ^[b]mercy seat.

^14 (A)He made the veil of violet, purple, crimson and fine linen, and he worked cherubim on it.
