¹³ ‘Thus My anger will be spent and I will ^[a]satisfy My wrath on them, and I will be ^[b](A)appeased; then they will know that I, the Lord, have ^(B)spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.

⁸ Now I will shortly ^(A)pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you; ^(B)judge you according to your ways and bring on you all your abominations.

¹³ But the house of Israel ^(A)rebelled against Me in the wilderness. They did not walk in My statutes and they rejected My ordinances, ^(B)by which, if a man ^[a]observes them, he will live; and My ^(C)sabbaths they greatly profaned. Then I ^[b]resolved to ^(D)pour out My wrath on them in the wilderness, to annihilate them.

²¹ But the ^(A)children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to observe My ordinances, by which, if a man observes them, he will live; they profaned My sabbaths. So I ^[a]resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to accomplish My anger against them in the wilderness.
