22 (A)“Nange ndibagolokokerako,” bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda ow’Eggye,
“ne mmalawo mu Babulooni erinnya lye, n’abalifikkawo,
n’omwana n’omuzzukulu,”
bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda.
23 (B)“Era ndimufuula obutaka bw’ebiwuugulu,
n’entobazzi
era mwere n’olweyo oluzikiriza,”

22 “I will rise up(A) against them,”
declares the Lord Almighty.
“I will wipe out Babylon’s name(B) and survivors,
her offspring and descendants,(C)”
declares the Lord.
23 “I will turn her into a place for owls(D)
and into swampland;
I will sweep her with the broom of destruction,(E)”
declares the Lord Almighty.(F)
