Isaiah 21:9-11

9 Now behold, here comes a troop of riders, horsemen in pairs.”
And one answered and said, “(A)Fallen, fallen is Babylon;
And all the (B)graven images of her gods [a]are shattered on the ground.”
10 O my (C)trampled people and my [b]afflicted of the threshing floor!
What I have heard from Yahweh of hosts,
The God of Israel, I have declared to you.
Oracles Concerning Dumah and Arabia
11 The [c]oracle concerning [d](D)Dumah.
One keeps calling to me from (E)Seir,
“Watchman, [e]how far gone is the night?
Watchman, [f]how far gone is the night?”

New International Version
9 Look, here comes a man in a chariot(A)
with a team of horses.
And he gives back the answer:
‘Babylon(B) has fallen,(C) has fallen!
All the images of its gods(D)
lie shattered(E) on the ground!’”
10 My people who are crushed on the threshing floor,(F)
I tell you what I have heard
from the Lord Almighty,
from the God of Israel.

Someone calls to me from Seir,(H)
“Watchman, what is left of the night?
Watchman, what is left of the night?”
