For (A)neither Israel nor Judah has been [a]forsaken
By his God, the Lord of hosts,
Although their land is (B)full of guilt
[b]Before the Holy One of Israel.
(C)Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you save his life!
Do not be [c](D)destroyed in her [d]punishment,
For this is the (E)Lord’s time of vengeance;
He is going to (F)render recompense to her.
Babylon has been a golden (G)cup in the hand of the Lord,
Intoxicating all the earth.
The (H)nations have drunk of her wine;
Therefore the nations are (I)going mad.
