⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said of him, “Behold, an ^(A)Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”

²⁸ For ^(A)he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. ²⁹ But ^(B)he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and ^(C)circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the ^(D)Spirit, not by the letter; ^(E)and his praise is not from men, but from God.

¹⁶ And those who will ^[a]walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the ^(A)Israel of God.
