¹¹ When we heard it, ^(A)our hearts melted and no ^[a]courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the ^(B)Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

⁴⁶ This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the ^(A)dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, ^(B)that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, ⁴⁷ and that all this assembly may know that ^(C)the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; ^(D)for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give you into our hands.”

⁸ It happened when Elisha ^(A)the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent word to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Now let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”
