27 De Heer zei tegen Mozes: 2 "Zeg tegen de Israëlieten: Als iemand belooft een persoon aan Mij te geven, moet hij die persoon vrijkopen. Die persoon mag dus niet geofferd worden. Hij moet Mij een bedrag geven ter waarde van die persoon. 3 Daarvoor gelden de volgende bedragen, afgemeten met de sikkel die in het heiligdom gebruikt wordt:
Voor een man tussen de 20 en 60 jaar: 50 sikkels zilver (550 gram).
4 Voor een vrouw tussen de 20 en de 60 jaar: 30 sikkels (330 gram).

27 1,2 De Here zei tegen Mozes: ‘Zeg het volk van Israël dat als iemand een speciale belofte doet om zichzelf aan de Here te geven, hij in plaats daarvan deze betalingen kan doen: 3 een man in de leeftijd van twintig tot zestig jaar mag vijfhonderdvijftig gram zilver betalen. 4 Een vrouw in de leeftijd van twintig tot zestig jaar mag driehonderddertig gram zilver betalen.

27 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If anyone makes a special vow(A) to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value, 3 set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels[a] of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel[b];(B) 4 for a female, set her value at thirty shekels[c];

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.
3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
