¹⁹ Ordering the ^[a]people to ^[b]sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He ^(A)blessed the food, and breaking the loaves He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds,

²⁷ And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you;

^17 (A)And when He had taken a cup and ^(B)given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves;

¹⁹ And when He had taken some bread and ^(A)given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, and ^(A)having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the ^(B)fish as much as they wanted.

²³ There came other small boats from ^(A)Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the ^(B)Lord ^(C)had given thanks.

³⁵ Having said this, he took bread and ^(A)gave thanks to God in the presence of all, and he broke it and began to eat.

⁶ He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, ^[a]does so for the Lord, for he ^(A)gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God.
