⁶³ But ^(A)Jesus kept silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to Him, “I ^[a](C)adjure You by ^(D)the living God, that You tell us whether You are ^[b]the Christ, ^(E)the Son of God.” ⁶⁴ Jesus *said to him, “^(F)You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, ^[c]hereafter you will see ^(G)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and ^(H)coming on the clouds of heaven.”

⁶⁵ Then the high priest ^(I)tore his ^[d]robes and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; ⁶⁶ what do you think?” They answered, “^(J)He deserves death!”

^61 (A)But He kept silent and did not answer. ^(B)Again the high priest was questioning Him, and ^[a]saying to Him, “Are You ^[b]the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” ⁶² And Jesus said, “I am; and you shall see ^(C)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and ^(D)coming with the clouds of heaven.” ^63 (E)Tearing his clothes, the high priest *said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?

⁶⁷ “^(A)If You are the ^[a]Christ, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe; ⁶⁸ and if I ask a question, you will not answer. ^69 (B)But from now on ^(C)the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” ⁷⁰ And they all said, “Are You ^(D)the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “^[b](E)Yes, I am.” ⁷¹ Then they said, “What further need do we have of testimony? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth.”

^19 (A)The high priest then questioned Jesus about His disciples, and about His teaching. ²⁰ Jesus answered him, “I ^(B)have spoken openly to the world; I always ^(C)taught in ^[a]synagogues and ^(D)in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and I spoke nothing in secret. ²¹ Why do you question Me? Question those who have heard what I spoke to them; they know what I said.”
