(A)That Your (B)beloved may be delivered,
(C)Save with Your right hand, and answer [a]us!

God has spoken in His [b](D)holiness:
“I will exult, I will portion out (E)Shechem and measure out the valley of (F)Succoth.
(G)Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;
(H)Ephraim also is the [c]helmet of My head;
Judah is My [d](I)scepter.
(J)Moab is My washbowl;
Over (K)Edom I shall throw My shoe;
Shout loud, O (L)Philistia, because of Me!”

Who will bring me into the besieged city?
Who [e]will lead me to Edom?
10 Have not You Yourself, O God, (M)rejected us?
And (N)will You not go forth with our armies, O God?
11 O give us help against the adversary,
For (O)deliverance [f]by man is in vain.
12 [g]Through God we shall (P)do valiantly,
And it is He who will (Q)tread down our adversaries.
