68 [a]Let (A)God arise, [b]let His enemies be scattered,
And [c]let those who hate Him flee before Him.
As (B)smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
As (C)wax melts before the fire,
So let the (D)wicked perish before God.

12 Alas, the uproar of many peoples
(A)Who roar like the roaring of the seas,
And the rumbling of nations
Who rush on like the (B)rumbling of mighty waters!
13 The (C)nations rumble on like the rumbling of many waters,
But He will (D)rebuke them and they will flee far away,
And be chased (E)like chaff in the mountains before the wind,
Or like whirling dust before a gale.
14 At evening time, behold, there is terror!
Before morning (F)they are no more.
[a]Such will be the portion of those who plunder us
And the lot of those who pillage us.
