Endagaano Enkadde nʼEndagaano Empya
24 (A)“Ddala ddala nga bwe ndi omulamu, wadde ggwe Koniya omwana wa Yekoyakimu, singa wali mpeta ey’obuyinza ku mukono gwange ogwa ddyo, nandikusiseeko,” bw’ayogera Mukama. 25 (B)“Ndikuwaayo eri abo abanoonya obulamu bwo, abo bootya, Nebukadduneeza kabaka w’e Babulooni era n’eri Abakaludaaya. 26 (C)Ndikusuula mu nsi endala gye mutaazaalibwa, ggwe ne maama wo eyakuzaala, era eyo mwembi gye mulifiira. 27 Temulidda mu nsi gye mwegomba okuddamu.”
28 (D)Omusajja ono Koniya kintu ekinyoomebwa,
ekimenyese, ekitaliiko ayagala?
Lwaki ye n’abaana be balikanyugibwa ebweru,
basuulibwe mu nsi gye batamanyi?

New International Version
24 “As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “even if you, Jehoiachin[a](A) son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring(B) on my right hand, I would still pull you off. 25 I will deliver(C) you into the hands of those who want to kill you, those you fear—Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the Babylonians.[b] 26 I will hurl(D) you and the mother(E) who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die. 27 You will never come back to the land you long to return(F) to.”

12 “Say to this rebellious people, ‘Do you not know what these things mean?(A)’ Say to them: ‘The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles,(B) bringing them back with him to Babylon.(C) 13 Then he took a member of the royal family and made a treaty(D) with him, putting him under oath.(E) He also carried away the leading men(F) of the land, 14 so that the kingdom would be brought low,(G) unable to rise again, surviving only by keeping his treaty.
