¹⁰ then may my wife grind^(A) another man’s grain,
    and may other men sleep with her.^(B)

¹⁰ Therefore I will give their wives to other men
    and their fields to new owners.^(A)
From the least to the greatest,
    all are greedy for gain;^(B)
prophets^(C) and priests alike,
    all practice deceit.^(D)

¹¹ You levy a straw tax on the poor^(A)
    and impose a tax on their grain.
Therefore, though you have built stone mansions,^(B)
    you will not live in them;^(C)
though you have planted lush vineyards,
    you will not drink their wine.^(D)

¹³ They will sow wheat but reap thorns;
    they will wear themselves out but gain nothing.^(A)
They will bear the shame of their harvest
    because of the Lord’s fierce anger.”^(B)
