  1. Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
  2. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
  3. When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

  21. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
  22. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
  23. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
  24. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
