Judgment on Judah

This is what the Lord says: “For three offenses of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the Law of the Lord And have not kept His statutes; Their lies also have led them astray, Those which their fathers followed.

She has fallen, she will not rise again— The virgin Israel. She lies unnoticed on her land; There is no one to raise her up.

Those who lie on beds of ivory, And lounge around on their couches, And eat lambs from the flock, And calves from the midst of the fattened cattle,
