  2. And Abim′elech said to Abraham, “What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs which you have set apart?”
  3. He said, “These seven ewe lambs you will take from my hand, that you may be a witness for me that I dug this well.”

  16. The Daily Offerings

    “Now this is what you shall offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually.
  17. One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer in the evening;
  18. and with the first lamb a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a libation.
  19. And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, and shall offer with it a cereal offering and its libation, as in the morning, for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the Lord.
  20. The firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. All the first-born of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
  21. If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord,
  22. “If he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish,
  23. And all its fat he shall remove as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar, upon the offerings by fire to the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed, and he shall be forgiven.
  24. and he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord for the sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.
  25. “But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring, as his guilt offering to the Lord for the sin which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.
